Eddy Grant

Eddy Grant is a British-Guyanese singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. His music blends reggae and Caribbean rhythms with rock, pop and funk influences, often incorporating early electronic production and prominent rhythmic grooves. He self-produced much of his work and frequently combined danceable arrangements with socially aware lyrical themes. He began his career as a member of the band The Equals before pursuing a solo path marked by distinctive guitar parts, strong bass lines, and a direct vocal style.
