Dexter Gordon

Dexter Gordon was an American tenor saxophonist associated with bebop and hard bop. He was known for a large, warm tone and long, lyrical improvisations that blended a strong sense of swing with melodic phrasing. He performed extensively in both the United States and Europe and is considered an influential figure in modern jazz.
