Deee‐Lite

Deee-Lite was an American dance music group active from 1986 to 1996, known for blending house, disco, funk, and psychedelic pop into upbeat, sample-rich club tracks and for a flamboyant, colorful visual style. Fronted by singer Lady Miss Kier with contributions from DJ Dmitry and later Towa Tei, the band combined electronic production, prominent basslines, and playful lyrics aimed at dance floors and alternative pop audiences, and are best known for the 1990 single "Groove Is in the Heart".
