Darkthrone

Darkthrone is a Norwegian metal band formed in 1986 that moved from early death and thrash influences into a stripped, lo-fi black metal style in the early 1990s. Their sound is marked by repetitive, minimalist riffs, harsh vocals, and raw production, and the project, centered on core members Fenriz and Nocturno Culto, later absorbed punk and traditional metal elements; they are considered an influential act within the Norwegian black metal scene.
