Current 93

Current 93 is a British experimental music group formed in 1982 and led by David Tibet. Their work moves from early industrial and post-industrial experiments toward neofolk and apocalyptic folk-tinged recordings, often featuring sparse acoustic arrangements, drones and atmospheric textures. Tibet's vocals and lyrics frequently draw on religious, mystical and apocalyptic imagery.
