Cream

Cream were a British rock band formed in 1966 and active until 1968, built around guitarist Eric Clapton, bassist and singer Jack Bruce, and drummer Ginger Baker. They combined blues roots with rock and early psychedelic experimentation, frequently featuring extended improvisation and virtuosic instrumental interplay that emphasized guitar-bass-drums dynamics. Often described as an early rock supergroup, they helped push electric blues toward a heavier, more experimental sound and influenced later hard rock and jam-oriented bands.
