Conway Twitty

Conway Twitty was an American singer-songwriter known for a rich, smooth baritone voice and a career that moved from early rock and roll into country music. His repertoire included intimate country ballads and uptempo honky-tonk numbers, and he recorded extensively both as a solo artist and in duet collaborations with Loretta Lynn. He remained a notable presence in country music and died in 1993.
