Cocteau Twins

Cocteau Twins were a Scottish band formed in 1979 and active until 1997. Their music is characterized by lush, reverb-heavy guitar textures, layered production, and Elizabeth Fraser's distinctive, often non-lexical soprano vocals that emphasize sound and melody over conventional lyrical narratives.
