Chuck Willis

Chuck Willis was an American rhythm and blues singer and songwriter active in the 1950s, known for a warm, expressive vocal delivery and material that ranged from slow blues-inflected ballads to mid-tempo R&B numbers. His music drew on blues traditions and intersected with early rock and roll sounds; he recorded during the 1950s and died in 1958.
