Chick Corea

Chick Corea was an American jazz pianist and keyboardist whose career spanned acoustic small-group jazz and electric jazz fusion. He was known for technical dexterity, inventive improvisation, a strong interest in modern harmony and Latin-influenced rhythms, and for leading ensembles such as Return to Forever; he also composed numerous pieces frequently performed by other jazz musicians. He died in 2021.
