Chairlift

Chairlift was an American indie pop band active from 2005 to 2017. Their music combined synth-driven production and 1980s pop and new wave influences with art-pop sensibilities, featuring Caroline Polachek's distinctive, breathy vocals alongside layered electronic textures. Initially formed by Caroline Polachek, Patrick Wimberly and Aaron Pfenning, the group blended accessible pop structures with atmospheric and experimental arrangements.
