Cat Power

Cat Power is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall. Her work blends indie rock, folk, blues and soul, often featuring spare arrangements and intimate, husky vocals. She is known for introspective songwriting and distinctive interpretations of other artists' songs, and she emerged in the independent music scene in the 1990s.
