Captain & Tennille

Captain & Tennille were an American pop duo formed in 1974 by keyboardist Daryl Dragon, known as the Captain, and singer Toni Tennille. Their sound blended soft rock and adult contemporary pop with piano-driven arrangements, smooth vocal harmonies, and romantic, radio-friendly production typical of mid 1970s mainstream pop. They worked across recording and television projects and remained associated with the era's easy listening and adult pop styles until their split in 2013.
