Burial is the recording alias of British electronic musician William Bevan, associated with atmospheric, nocturnal takes on dubstep and UK garage. His productions often use lo-fi textures and vinyl crackle, shuffled beats, pitched and chopped vocal fragments, and a melancholic, cinematic mood. He kept a low public profile early in his career, and his approach to rhythm and texture has been influential within underground UK electronic and post-dubstep circles.
