Bo Diddley

Bo Diddley (born Ellas McDaniel) was an American guitarist and singer known for a raw, rhythmic approach that helped shape early rock and roll. He popularized a syncopated, driving rhythm pattern often called the Bo Diddley beat, blended elements of blues, rhythm and blues, and Afro-Cuban rhythms, and was noted for his bold guitar sound, distinctive rectangular guitars, and energetic stage presence.
