Blumfeld

Blumfeld was a German indie rock band active from 1990 to 2007. Associated with the Hamburger Schule movement, their sound combined jangly and angular guitar work with melancholic, literate German lyrics delivered by frontman Jochen Distelmeyer. They blended pop songcraft with post-punk and art-rock tendencies and played a notable role in the development of German-language indie music.
