Blackfoot

Blackfoot is an American Southern rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1969. Their music blends Southern rock and blues rock with hard rock elements, featuring prominent twin-guitar work, driving rhythms, and gritty, roots-oriented vocals. Fronted for many years by Rickey Medlocke, the band emerged from the same regional scene as other Southern rock acts and is noted for combining blues-based songwriting with a heavier rock edge.
