Black Grape

Black Grape is an English rock band formed in 1993, led by vocalist Shaun Ryder with Paul "Kermit" Leveridge among its early members. Their sound blends rock with funk, dance, hip hop, and reggae influences, often built around samples, prominent rhythms, and party-oriented production. Emerging from the Manchester music scene, they are noted for combining club-friendly beats with guitar-driven alternative rock and outspoken, often irreverent lyrics.
