Beirut is an American band formed by Zach Condon in 2006, originally a solo project that grew into a collaborative group. Their music blends indie folk and chamber pop with clear influences from Eastern European and Balkan folk, using brass, accordion, ukulele, strings, and trumpet to create a nostalgic, cinematic sound.
