Bay City Rollers

Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop rock band formed in 1967 and active until 1987. Their sound blended upbeat, guitar-driven pop with elements of glam rock and an emphasis on catchy, singalong melodies, and they became closely associated in the 1970s with intense teenage fan culture. The group were visually identified by tartan clothing and a school-uniform inspired image that became a distinctive part of their public persona.
