Basement Jaxx

Basement Jaxx is an English electronic music duo formed in London in 1994 by Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. Their sound blends house and dance music with elements of UK garage, funk, soul, Latin and world music, characterized by energetic, sample-rich productions, bold arrangements and frequent use of guest vocalists. They are known for vibrant, eclectic production and for helping shape a club-oriented, genre-blending strand of the UK electronic scene.
