Barry McGuire

Barry McGuire is an American singer-songwriter associated with 1960s folk and folk-rock, noted for a gritty baritone and direct, narrative vocal delivery. He recorded socially conscious, protest-oriented material in the mid 1960s and is often linked with the song "Eve of Destruction". In later decades he moved into Christian music and continued recording and performing within that tradition.
