Barrington Levy

Barrington Levy is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer known for a distinctive high tenor voice, melodic phrasing, and frequent use of vibrato and falsetto. Emerging in the late 1970s and 1980s, he became associated with dancehall rhythms while retaining roots-reggae melodicism, and his vocal style and timing have been influential within reggae and dancehall vocal traditions.
