Autechre

Autechre are a British electronic duo formed in 1991, composed of Rob Brown and Sean Booth. Their work is marked by abstract, highly detailed electronic production, complex and often irregular rhythmic structures, and an emphasis on sound design and algorithmic approaches to composition. Associated with experimental electronic and IDM circles, their music moves between ambient textures, glitchy beats, and abrasive timbres, with a focus on exploration and evolution of rhythm and timbre.
