Au Pairs

Au Pairs were a British post-punk band active from 1979 to 1983, combining angular, precise guitar work with a tight, funk-influenced rhythm section. Their music emphasized concise, rhythmic arrangements and direct, often confrontational lyrics that addressed gender politics and social issues, placing them within the more politicized vein of late 1970s and early 1980s post-punk.
