Art of Noise

Art of Noise was an English electronic group formed in 1983 and active until 2000. They employed synthesizers, tape editing, and early digital sampling to create experimental, collage-like instrumentals that mixed pop forms with avant-garde studio techniques. Associated with producer Trevor Horn and the ZTT label in their early period, the group emphasized studio-based sound design, fragmented rhythms, and cinematic textures within electronic music production.
