Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in 2002, associated with the British indie rock and post-punk revival scenes. Their early sound emphasized sharp, guitar-driven arrangements and brisk rhythms, while later albums explored moodier, more atmospheric textures and varied influences beyond straightforward guitar rock. Fronted by Alex Turner, their songs often feature observational, slyly witty lyrics delivered in a distinctive Northern English vocal style.
