…And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead was an American rock band formed in Austin in 1994 and fronted by Conrad Keely and Jason Reece. Their music blended post-hardcore and indie rock with art rock elements, featuring loud-quiet dynamics, layered guitars, melodic hooks, and occasional orchestral or experimental touches, and their records often juxtaposed abrasive noise with more melodic songwriting. The group remained active until disbanding in 2023.
