Albert King

Albert King was an American blues guitarist and singer known for a powerful, soulful style and his left-handed, upside-down guitar technique. Associated with the electric blues tradition centered in Memphis, his playing emphasized deep string bends, expressive sustain, and economical phrasing that influenced many blues and rock guitarists. He recorded and performed widely through the mid to late 20th century and died in 1992.
