ABC

ABC are an English band formed in Sheffield in 1980, fronted by singer Martin Fry. Emerging from the early 1980s New Romantic and synth-pop scene, they are known for polished, stylish pop that blends electronic production with string arrangements and orchestral touches; their early work, notably the 1982 album The Lexicon of Love, featured lush production and orchestral pop arrangements.
