A Taste of Honey

Formed in 1971 and active through 1982, A Taste of Honey was a United States band that mixed disco, R&B, funk, and pop into dance-oriented grooves. The group was notable for featuring women who both sang and played instruments, and for combining prominent basslines, rhythmic guitar parts, and close vocal harmonies in a polished late 1970s dance-pop sound.
