Zucchero, stage name of Italian singer-songwriter Adelmo Fornaciari, blends blues, soul, rock and gospel influences with Italian songwriting. His gravelly, expressive voice and arrangements that mix acoustic and electric elements are central to his sound, and he has recorded material in Italian and other languages.
