Ultramagnetic MC's

Ultramagnetic MC’s are an American hip hop group formed in 1984, noted for dense, often abstract lyricism and inventive production that combined funk-derived samples with heavy drum programming and unconventional arrangements. Early members included Kool Keith and Ced Gee, and their 1988 debut album Critical Beatdown highlighted a stripped, experimental approach to beats and vocal delivery that distinguished them within late 1980s hip hop.
