The Thermals

The Thermals were an American indie rock band formed in 2002 and active until 2018, led by singer-guitarist Hutch Harris and bassist Kathy Foster. Their music paired punk energy and concise songcraft with raw, often lo-fi production, featuring driving basslines, angular guitars, and direct, frequently political or personal lyrics. They were associated with the early 2000s indie and punk scenes and known for a DIY approach to recording and performance.
