The Attractions

The Attractions were an English rock band formed in 1977 best known as Elvis Costello's backing group. Their style mixed new wave and pub rock with tight, punchy arrangements, prominent keyboards, and a driving rhythm section that helped shape Costello's band sound in the late 1970s and 1980s. They remained active with varying personnel and disbanded in 1996.
