Tangerine Dream

Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music group formed in 1967 by Edgar Froese. They are known for pioneering electronic and ambient styles associated with the Berlin School, using synthesizers, sequencers and layered textures to create extended instrumental pieces. Over decades the lineup changed while the project maintained a focus on atmospheric, often cinematic soundscapes, and the group produced a number of film scores as well as studio albums.
