Suba

Suba was the stage name of Mitar Subotić, a Serbian-born producer who worked extensively in Brazil and died in 1999. He was known for blending electronic production with Brazilian rhythms and textures, employing sampling, ambient soundscapes, and downtempo grooves to create atmospheric, studio-focused music. His work bridged European electronic approaches and Brazilian popular and regional styles, and he was active as a producer and collaborator in the 1990s.
