Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks are an American rock band formed in 2000 by singer-songwriter Stephen Malkmus after his tenure with Pavement. Their music combines indie rock with elements of classic rock, folk, and psychedelia, often featuring guitar-driven arrangements, extended instrumental passages, and witty, literate lyrics that highlight a looser, band-oriented approach to Malkmus's songwriting.
