Seu Jorge

Seu Jorge is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and actor whose music blends samba and MPB with elements of samba-rock, soul and folk. He is known for a warm, intimate vocal style and acoustic arrangements, and for performing Portuguese-language covers of David Bowie songs in the film The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, in which he also appears as an actor. His work often fuses traditional Brazilian rhythms with contemporary production.
