Savage Garden

Savage Garden were an Australian pop duo formed in 1994 and active until 2001, composed of singer Darren Hayes and instrumentalist-producer Daniel Jones. Their sound combined melodic pop and soft rock with synth-pop and adult contemporary elements, featuring polished production and Hayes' emotive tenor vocals. Arrangements ranged from uptempo, synth-driven tracks to piano-led ballads, often centered on romantic or introspective lyrics and memorable melodic hooks.
