Radio Tarifa

Radio Tarifa was a Spanish ensemble active from 1993 to 2006 that blended medieval Iberian, flamenco, Arab-Andalusian, North African and other Mediterranean folk traditions into an acoustic, rhythmically focused sound. Their arrangements combined traditional instruments and vocal styles with elements from early music and folk, producing a cross-cultural, historically informed fusion often associated with the 1990s world music scene.
