Placebo

Placebo is a British alternative rock band formed in 1994, known for a mix of guitar-driven rock, glam and electronic textures and a distinctive, high-register vocal delivery from frontman Brian Molko. Their music frequently combines melodic hooks with themes of emotional intensity, alienation and sexual ambiguity, and their visual and stylistic presentation has often emphasized androgyny and theatricality. They are associated with the alternative and indie rock scenes of the late 1990s and 2000s.
