Phil Spector

Phil Spector was an American record producer and songwriter best known for creating the "Wall of Sound" production approach, which layered orchestral instruments, percussion, and vocal overdubs to produce a dense, reverberant pop sound. He worked in the 1960s with vocal ensembles and solo artists, shaping arrangements in the studio and often using large session ensembles.
