Patty Waters

Patty Waters was an American avant-garde jazz vocalist known for raw, intensely emotional vocal improvisation and use of extended techniques. Emerging in the 1960s experimental jazz scene, she often reworked folk and blues material through free-jazz approaches, favoring sparse accompaniment and dramatic dynamic range.
