Pat Metheny

Pat Metheny is an American jazz guitarist and composer known for lyrical, melodic playing and for blending jazz with elements of rock, folk and world music. He leads the Pat Metheny Group and has recorded in settings from solo and duo performances to larger ensemble arrangements, often using 12-string guitars, guitar synthesizers and atmospheric textures to create spacious, harmonically rich music.
