Nurse With Wound

Formed in 1978 in the UK, Nurse With Wound is an experimental music project centered on Steven Stapleton. The group is known for surreal, collage-based soundscapes that use tape manipulation, musique concrète techniques, drone, noise and elements drawn from industrial and ambient practices. Their work and the so-called "Nurse With Wound list" are often referenced in discussions of the avant-garde and underground experimental scene.
