Nina Hagen Band

Nina Hagen Band was a German band formed in 1977 and active until 1979. Fronted by Nina Hagen, the group blended punk and new wave with theatrical and experimental vocal performances, drawing on elements of rock, reggae and cabaret. Their sound was notable for Hagen's wide vocal range and flamboyant stage persona, and the band was part of the late 1970s German punk and new wave scenes.
