Nightmares on Wax

Nightmares on Wax is a British electronic music project formed in 1988, centered on producer and DJ George Evelyn. The music blends downtempo, trip-hop, soul, dub, and funk influences into warm, sample-based grooves and relaxed, cinematic atmospheres, often associated with chillout and lounge settings. Over time the project shifted from club-oriented electronic roots toward more mellow, textured productions that emphasize mood and groove.
