Neurosis

Neurosis is an American band formed in 1985 that blends heavy metal, sludge, and industrial textures with experimental and atmospheric elements. Their music often features long, intense compositions, dynamic shifts between quiet and crushing passages, layered guitars and electronics, and prominent use of percussion and noise, and they are frequently associated with the development of post-metal and related underground heavy music scenes.
