Mother Love Bone

Mother Love Bone was a Seattle-based rock band active from 1987 to 1990, fronted by vocalist Andrew Wood with Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament among its members. Their music blended glam-influenced hard rock with elements of alternative and psychedelic rock, featuring theatrical vocals and layered guitars, and the band was part of the late 1980s Seattle scene; Wood's death in 1990 brought an end to the group and preceded members' involvement in projects that led to Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam.
